People have always told me to study my bible but no one has never told me where to begin. I suggest Romans because the first eight chapters teach us about justification by grace which is our foundational teaching. Once you study and meditate on these chapters you will have your foundational teaching. From there I suggest studying the gospels and after that the rest of the NT then study the Old Testiment. This system has worked well for me and the time and effort is well worth it. I recommend purchasing a study bible with commentary and cross references. A used book store is where my wife and myself often go to find a deal on study bibles.
